Hey!
I am a US citizen but live in Sweden with a "cohabitant residence permit". I am employed as an "independent contactor" for a US company. I work at a distance but with Swedish customers.
The American company does not pay my social security fees. If they pay to my US private account, do I still have to pay social security contributions - employer fees? Is it still 32% then?
Mvh,
Faisal

Hi Faisal,
Since the work is done in Sweden the social fees should be paid in Sweden regardless if the money is paid to foreign account. The social fees in Sweden is around 32 percent.
Mvh
